S M J Electronics. is located on the ground floor of 6 Kotwal Mansion. We are right near Hotel Grant on Proctor Road, in the Grant Road East area. It’s an old building with a lot of character. The ground floor stays a bit cooler than the street, which is nice in the summer. We have a lot of parts and gadgets tucked into every corner of the space. It’s not very organized to an outsider, but we know where everything is. The street outside is always busy with people heading to the station or the hotel. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers all know us. We spend most of our time at the workbench or talking to people who drop by. It's a small team here. We don't really do the corporate thing. We just wear regular clothes and get our hands dirty. It’s a practical way to run a business. The building has its quirks, like the plumbing and the old wiring, but it’s a good home for us. We don't have a mission statement or anything. We just open up, do the work, and close when we’re done. Some days the piles of electronics get a bit high, but we manage to sort through them eventually. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us here on Proctor Road. We keep the kettle going and just stay busy until it’s dark.
