S A Engineering

S A Engineering is tucked away in Gala No. 2 inside the Inamdar Compound. You have to come down Datta Mandir Road in Bhandup West to find us. It’s a bit of a maze in this compound with all the different galas, but once you find number two, that’s us. We have a few lathes and some welding equipment set up. The space is tight, and you have to be careful where you step so you don’t trip over a piece of scrap metal. We do mostly repair work and small fabrication jobs. It’s a lot of metal shavings and the smell of oil. We don't have an office lady or anything like that. If the phone rings, one of us wipes our hands on a rag and picks it up. Bhandup is a busy area, and there is always someone needing something fixed or a bracket made. We’ve been in this gala for quite a while. The lighting isn't the best, so we use some extra lamps when we are doing detail work. Sometimes we stay late if a job is proving difficult, but usually, we try to get home for dinner. It’s just honest work with metal. We don't have a website or anything fancy. People just show up at the door with a broken part and ask if we can fix it. Usually, we can make it work.
