Roshni Classes

We are up on the second floor of Patil Bhuvan in Mulund West. If you're looking for us, just find the Julelal Panipuriwala downstairs and head up. The smell of the food usually drifts up here in the evenings, which makes everyone a bit hungry during the last few hours. Roshni Classes isn't a massive institution with glass walls. It’s just a few rooms where we sit down and get to work. The building, A/17, has been around for a long time. You can hear the traffic from the street, but you get used to it after a week or so. We have students coming in from all over the neighborhood. Some walk, some come on cycles. It gets a bit crowded in the hallway when one batch is leaving and the next one is arriving, but we make it work. We don't have fancy furniture or anything like that. Just tables, chairs, and a lot of books. It’s a practical space. Most of us have been here for years, so we know the local faces well. The fans hum all day long. Sometimes the light in the stairwell flickers, but the landlord eventually gets to it. We just focus on what’s happening in the classroom. It’s a simple setup for people who want to learn without any extra noise or distractions from the outside world. That's just how we run things here. It is not perfect, but it is ours and it gets the job done.
