Rittal India Pvt Ltd has another spot over in Vikroli West, right on LBS Marg at number 96. If you’ve ever been on LBS Marg, you know it’s a bit of a struggle with the traffic and the construction that never seems to end. Our office here is a bit cramped, but we make it work. There are about ten of us sharing the space most days. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, so the fans are always going full blast. We spend a lot of time on our computers or talking on the phone with people. The number 96 building is an old one, with those narrow stairs and a lift that you only use if you’re feeling brave. We’ve got a few desks pushed together and wires running along the floor that we have to be careful not to trip over. It’s not the most modern office in Mumbai, but it’s ours. We usually go out for a quick bite at the small shops downstairs because staying inside all day is a bit much. Vikroli West is a busy area, and we’re right in the thick of it. There’s a sense of just getting on with things here. We don't have any big speeches or meetings that last for hours. We just focus on what’s on the screen and try to get home before the rains get too bad or the evening rush really kicks in.
