Red Carpet Wax Museum

We are the Red Carpet Wax Museum. You can find us inside R City Mall on the first floor. The address is Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, Amrut Nagar, Ghatkopar West, Mumbai. We have a lot of wax figures here. Some of them look just like the real people. It takes a lot of time to keep them looking right. We spend a lot of our shift dusting the statues and fixing their clothes. People come in with their families to take photos with the figures. It is usually much louder on the weekends when the mall is packed with shoppers. We have different sections for different types of famous people. The lighting has to be just right for the pictures to come out well. Sometimes the kids get a bit too close, so we have to watch out for that. We are right there in the middle of a busy part of Mumbai. Working in a mall means we stay open late into the evening. We do not have a huge staff, just enough to manage the tickets and look after the floor. The figures stay still, obviously, but we stay pretty busy ourselves. It is an interesting place to spend the day. You see all sorts of reactions from the visitors. Some people stay for hours looking at every detail. We keep the air conditioning running high to protect the wax. It is a decent place to visit if you are already at the mall for some shopping.
