Rankers Tutorials is located at Vile Parle East 23. It’s a small place on the second floor of a building that’s seen a lot of history. Vile Parle is always moving fast, and we’re right in the middle of it. You can hear the trains passing by if you listen closely, which I’ve grown to quite like over the years. The room we have isn't very big, so we have to be careful with how we arrange the desks so everyone can see the board. It’s a bit of a squeeze when the full batch is in, especially during the exam season. We have a small cupboard where we keep all the previous years' question papers, and it’s getting a bit hard to close the door lately because of all the folders. My wife helps me with the admin stuff, though mostly she’s just making sure I don’t forget to drink my tea while it’s hot. We don't have any fancy brochures or big posters on the street. Usually, a parent will just bring their child over because their older sibling studied here before. The walls are a bit yellowish now, and the clock on the wall loses about five minutes every month, but we just adjust it and keep going. It’s a simple spot where we focus on the books and hope the students get the hang of their subjects. No bells and whistles, just a place to study.
