Being located behind the Jain Temple in Chembur makes it easy for us to give directions, though people still struggle with finding the Vinia Building sometimes. Our office is 444-A on the 10th Road. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main road. We spend our days looking at controls and instruments, which sounds more exciting than it actually is when you are staring at a screen for eight hours. There are a lot of cables and small components sitting on the workbenches because we like to keep things within reach. The building itself is older, and you can hear the rain hitting the window panes pretty loudly during the monsoon. We have a few plants near the window that mostly survive on their own. Usually, there is a pile of couriers near the entrance waiting to be sorted out. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will probably look up from their desk to see what you need. It is a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, whether it is answering the phone or packing a box. The tea lady comes by twice a day, and that is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We have been in Chembur for a good stretch of time and know the local shopkeepers well. It is a bit cramped when we get a large shipment in, but we manage to find space by moving some chairs around until the delivery is sorted.
