You can find Rochlon Exports Pvt. Ltd. down in the basement at 360/64 Kalbadevi Road. We are right across from the Ramwadi Post Office. Being in a basement means we don't get much natural light, so we have the tubelights on all day long. It can get a bit damp during the rainy season, but we’ve got pallets to keep everything off the floor. The street outside is one of the busiest in the city, so having the office downstairs actually keeps it a little bit quieter than the shops at ground level. We handle a lot of export paperwork and inventory tracking from this small space. It’s mostly desks piled with folders and a few computers that have seen better days. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. It’s just a place where we get the job done. The stairs down to the basement are a bit narrow, so we have to be careful when we’re carrying boxes in and out. It’s a practical setup for us because it’s close to all the main trading hubs. We spend a lot of our time talking to agents and making sure the logistics are sorted. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due, and the whole place feels very still once the street noise dies down. It’s not a glamorous job, but we’ve been doing it this way for years and it works for us. We just keep our focus on the day’s tasks.
