Raj Gopalan Astrologer

I’ve been working as Raj Gopalan Astrologer out of Mulund West for quite some time now. This is where I meet people and talk to them about what’s going on in their lives. The space isn't very large. It’s just a quiet room where we can sit and look at charts without too much interruption. Mulund West is a nice area, fairly busy but also has its quiet corners. People usually come to see me when they are feeling a bit stuck or just want to see what the stars might be saying. I don't use any fancy computer programs or flashy lights. It is just me, some notebooks, and a lot of old books on astrology. I started doing this because I liked the math and the stories behind it all. People from the neighborhood know where to find me. Often, someone will bring their neighbor or a relative along. We sit, have some water, and just talk through things. It isn't a clinical environment at all. There are some incense sticks and a lot of paper everywhere. Sometimes the doorbell rings when I'm in the middle of something, and I just have to ask them to wait a minute. I try to keep my schedule flexible because you never know when someone might need to talk. It's a simple life and I enjoy the conversations I get to have every day with the people who come by.
