Our place, Rahul Exports, is located at No. 160 Ghadial Galli in Mangaldas Market. If you’ve ever been to the market, you know how crowded and narrow the lanes are. It’s a constant maze of people carrying bundles and carts moving through the alleys all day long. Our shop is small, and the walls are stacked high with samples and ledgers that go back years. There’s barely enough room for three people to stand comfortably, but we make it work somehow. The smell of the market is something you never forget, a mix of old fabric and street food from the vendors outside. We spend most of our day talking to traders and checking the quality of goods before they go out for shipping. It’s loud, it’s chaotic, and it gets very hot in the summer months. We have a small fan that just moves the warm air around. There’s no fancy office furniture here, just wooden stools and a desk that’s been there for decades. We drink a lot of chai from the local vendor who comes by every hour. Ghadial Galli is a busy spot, and we are right in the middle of all the action. It’s not the easiest place to work, but it’s where the business happens. We handle our exports right from this little corner of the market. It’s just the way things have always been.
