Radix Electrosystems Private Limited, Mumbai

Our place is at B-17 on the first floor of the Ghanshyam Industrial Estate. It’s just off Veera Desai Road in Andheri West, which is always a bit of a chaotic area to drive through. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy Andheri can get. The industrial estate itself has that old-school feel with lots of different businesses all working right next to each other. We’ve been here at Radix Electrosystems for quite some time, dealing with all sorts of electronic systems and parts. The office isn't anything spectacular to look at, just a practical space where we can get our heads down and work. Being on the first floor is handy because we don’t have to wait for the lift every time we need to pop out. We have a lot of benches covered in tools and testing equipment. It’s the kind of environment where something is always being taken apart or put back together. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. We are just a group of people who are good with electronics and like staying busy. Sometimes the rain in Mumbai makes it a bit of a trek to get into work, but we’re always here. We know the neighbors in the estate well, and there’s a decent sense of community among the businesses around Veera Desai Road. It’s just how things are here in this part of the city.
