Our place is tucked away inside the Nirmal Rubber & Boards Compound over on Sumul Dairy Road. If you know Goregaon East, you know it can be a bit of a maze back there. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. We handle various engineering tasks, mostly mechanical stuff that people in the industrial area need. It’s a dusty place, usually smells like grease and metal, but that’s just how an engineering shop is. We aren't big on paperwork or fancy meetings. Usually, we're just under a machine or looking at some blue prints on a stained table. The guys here have been working together for years. We know each other's habits and how the old lathes sound when they’re acting up. Sometimes the power goes out in the compound, and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It gives us a chance to talk to the neighbors. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. Most people who come to us found out from someone else nearby. It’s a practical setup. We have the tools we need and a roof that mostly doesn’t leak unless it’s really pouring. We just get on with the jobs as they come in. It’s not a corporate office, just a workspace where we try to get things right the first time. We just keep our heads down and work.
