Abener Engineering is tucked away at 110 L.B.S. Marg in the Ganga House building over in Vikhroli West. If you know the area, you know L.B.S. Marg is always moving. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. We do engineering work, which basically means a lot of time spent looking at drawings and calculating things. It’s not always the most exciting work, but it’s what we know. The office is pretty standard, nothing too special to look at, just desks and computers and a lot of files. We have a small group of people here who have been doing this for years. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there, just want to do the job right. Sometimes the monsoon makes getting to the office a bit of a challenge, but we manage. Being in Vikhroli is good because it’s central for many of our clients. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working through project details. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen us in the building. We just focus on the engineering side of things and let the work speak for itself. It can get pretty loud outside with the street noise, but inside we just keep our heads down and get through the pile of work on our desks. The floor is a bit scuffed and the lighting could be better, but we get the job done without any fuss.
