Pushti Classes

Pushti Classes is located inside the Jivan Shanti Society at room number 604. We are right off the New Link Road in Kandivali West, which is a very busy part of Mumbai. Because of the location, you can always hear the traffic and the horns from the main road, but once the door is closed, it’s a bit quieter. The room isn't huge, but we have enough benches for the students to sit comfortably. We’ve been here in the 400067 area for some time now, and most of the kids who come here live in the nearby buildings. I spend a lot of time preparing the lessons and making sure the whiteboard is clean for the next group. Sometimes the elevator in the society is slow, so people end up taking the stairs to the sixth floor, which is a bit of a climb. We have some fans on the ceiling to keep the air moving, especially during those humid Mumbai months when it gets really stuffy. It's not a fancy educational institute with big posters or computers, just a place where kids come to learn their subjects and do their homework. We have a small desk near the entrance where parents come to talk about their children's progress. It’s a very local thing, and we just focus on the teaching part without any of the extra fluff you see elsewhere. Every day is different depending on who shows up for class.
