Proto Enterprises

Our place, Proto Enterprises, is located at H112 in the Sharad Industrial Estate in Bhandup West. It is a typical industrial unit with high ceilings and a lot of metal lying around. Being in Bhandup West means we are surrounded by other workshops and the sound of machinery is pretty much constant. We handle various small-scale manufacturing and prototyping jobs here. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings or oil, and we wear old clothes because things get messy fast. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy website. Most people find us because they know the Sharad Industrial Estate well. The work is mostly hands-on, using lathes or manual tools to get a part just right. It is a bit hot in the summer because the ventilation isn't the best, but we have a few fans going. We have been in this H112 unit for quite some time now. The bench in the corner is where we have our lunch and talk about the day. It is not a corporate office with air conditioning and quiet halls. It is a place where things are made and fixed. We just focus on the job at hand and try to make sure the measurements are correct. It is just us doing our thing in Bhandup, trying to stay busy and keep the machines running.
