Prof Prakash Joshi

Prof Prakash Joshi is located in Dadar West, specifically at Ratan Apartment on the 4th floor. We are in Flat No-7 on Chitale Path, which is right opposite the Portuguese Church. It’s a very well-known spot in Mumbai. Being on the fourth floor means we get a little bit of a breeze, but the elevator is quite small, so sometimes it’s faster to just walk up if you’re only one or two people. The apartment serves as our study space. It’s filled with books—books on shelves, books on tables, and even some stacked on the floor. It looks exactly like a professor’s home should look. There isn't any fancy décor or corporate branding. It’s just a quiet place where we sit and go through lessons. You can hear the church bells sometimes, which is quite peaceful. We spend most of our time here, either reading or explaining things to the few students who come over. It’s a very personal way of doing things. We don’t have a big team or a receptionist. If the doorbell rings, one of us just goes and opens it. The furniture is old and comfortable. It’s the kind of place where you can actually focus without a lot of distractions. We’ve been in this flat for years, and it’s become a bit of a second home to many who have come here to study over the decades. It’s simple, quiet, and very Dadar.
