Pragati Clinic

Pragati Clinic is a small place tucked away in Shivaji Nagar. It’s not much to look at from the outside, just a regular door on a busy street. Inside, we have a small waiting area and one main room where the doctor sits. I’ve worked here for a while and you get to know everyone who lives in the surrounding lanes. Shivaji Nagar is always buzzing with people and shops, so there’s never a quiet moment. We see people for all sorts of small problems—coughs, colds, or just someone needing their blood pressure checked. We keep a simple cabinet full of basic medicines and a thermometer that’s seen better days. There’s no big staff here, just a couple of us managing the appointments and cleaning up. We don’t use any fancy booking systems; people just show up and wait their turn. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when too many people arrive at once, but everyone is patient and chats with each other. The walls are painted a pale green and we have a few posters about health on them. It’s the kind of clinic where you can just walk in and get help without a lot of fuss or expensive fees. We just try to keep the neighborhood healthy. It’s a modest setup but it serves its purpose for the families around here. We have a small bench outside if the room gets too full with people waiting.
