Amaya Clinic

Amaya Clinic is in Malad West, specifically at number 7 in the Ahimsa Aditya Anirudh building on Ahimsa Marg. It’s located just off Chincholi Bundar Road. This part of Malad is usually quite packed with people and cars all through the day. The clinic is on the ground floor, which makes it much easier for people to just walk right in. I spend a lot of time sitting at the small desk near the door. It’s a compact space, but we make it work for the patients who come to see us. We have a couple of chairs for waiting and a small room in the back for consultations. The neighborhood is full of tall apartment buildings and busy shops. You can hear the sounds of the street and the horns even when the front door is shut tight. It’s just the way it is in this busy part of Mumbai. We see a lot of local families who live in the CHS buildings nearby. Some days we are very busy and the little waiting area feels even smaller than it is. Other days, it’s just a few people coming in for their regular health checkups. We don't have a big team of people, just enough of us to keep the place running and clean. The light in the hallway is a bit dim, but the clinic itself is bright enough. We keep the paperwork in stacks and try our best to stay on top of things. It’s a humble place, focused on the basics of health for the people around Malad. We have been here for a few years and the patients know our names well.
