Prabhu Engineers

We are located at Gala No. 3 in the Saida Khan Estate. This is over in Chimat Pada, which is near Faruq Estate. It is all tucked away around the Marol Naka area in Andheri East. Finding the right gala can be a bit of a puzzle if you are not from around here. It is a dense area with many small workshops and units all crowded together. Prabhu Engineers is our small operation. We do a lot of our work right there in that single gala. It gets a bit cramped with all the materials and tools, but we make it work. The neighborhood is always buzzing with activity. There are tea stalls nearby where we usually go during breaks. The sound of the metro is always in the background now. We have been here through many seasons, dealing with the monsoon rains that sometimes flood the lanes. It’s a tough place to work sometimes, but it’s our spot. We know the other people in the estate well. We don't use any fancy management techniques or anything. We just talk to our clients, figure out what they need, and get to work on the bench. It’s a simple, local business. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to do okay for ourselves and our families. Every day brings something a bit different, but the location stays the same. We just keep our tools sharp and our heads down. It is hard work but it is ours.
