Prabha Classes

Prabha Classes is situated at 68, Roshan Mahal Building on Sleater Road. We are right in the middle of the Grant Road area, which is always moving. Being opposite the railway station is helpful because many students use the train to get here. You can hear the announcements from the platforms sometimes if the windows are open. Roshan Mahal is one of those classic old buildings you see all over South Mumbai. Our space is functional and basic. We have been here for a long time, watching the neighborhood change around us. The entrance can be a bit busy with people rushing to catch their trains, but once you are inside, it is much quieter. We mostly deal with school kids from the locality who need a bit of extra help with their daily lessons. It’s a very local atmosphere where everyone knows everyone else. We don't use any complicated systems; we just sit down with the books and explain things the old-fashioned way. There are benches and a few fans to keep the air moving during the hot Mumbai afternoons. We usually open up early and stay until the last student leaves in the evening. It’s a humble place, focused on the books and the blackboard. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us working in this building across from the station, trying to help students understand their subjects a bit better.
