Our place is at number 8 in the Standard Metal Compound. It’s located on Mogra Village Road, which is right in Andheri East. Powerol Panels & Controls India Pvt. Ltd. is the full name, but we usually just think of ourselves as the team in the compound. It’s an industrial sort of area. There are a lot of trucks moving in and out of the Mogra Village Road area, so it gets dusty. Our unit is just a functional space. We’ve got panels and control systems everywhere. It’s not a fancy office with carpets. It’s more about the work we do on the floor. The Standard Metal Compound has been around a long time. You can tell by the gates and the way the buildings look. Andheri East is always packed, and we are right in the middle of that hustle. Sometimes it’s hard for people to find the exact gate, but once you’re in, number 8 is easy to spot. We don’t have a big marketing department. We just handle the technical stuff. It’s a bit hot in the summer because of the metal roofs, but we have fans going. It’s an honest day’s work for us. We’ve got a small crew and we’ve known each other for years. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We just want to get the panels built and shipped out on time. It is a busy life here in the compound, but it suits us fine.
