We are over in Kandivali East, at the Gundecha Industrial Complex on Ankurli Road. Our specific unit is number 407. It is a typical industrial estate setup with lots of different small businesses all packed in together. We have been here for a long time, working on storage systems and racking for various warehouses and shops. The office is right there with the workshop area, so it is never really quiet during the day. You can always hear the sounds of metal being moved around or someone using a drill or a saw nearby. It is a practical place for people who aren't afraid of getting their hands a bit dirty. We have a small crew, and most of us have been working here since the company started. We don't do much in terms of advertising. Most of our work comes from people hearing about us from others or seeing our racks in another warehouse. The complex can get pretty busy with trucks loading and unloading in the narrow lanes, so you have to be careful where you park your scooter. We spend our days sketching out layouts for storage spaces and making sure the measurements are exactly right before we start cutting the metal. It is honest work and it keeps us on our toes. There is a small stall nearby that makes great snacks, which is where we usually go.
