Our office, Pdoecl, is tucked away at No. 209 Bank Street Cross Lane in the Fort area. If you’ve walked around Fort, you know the buildings are old and have those high ceilings and heavy wooden doors. Our space is like that. It feels solid and a bit historic, which is a nice change from the modern glass towers you see elsewhere. We are located on a narrow lane, so it stays a bit quieter than the main roads, though you can still hear the city hum. Inside, it’s mostly just us at our desks surrounded by files, drawings, and old binders. We do a lot of technical and engineering-type work, so there’s usually a lot of staring at screens and debating over plans. It isn't a flashy place; we have mismatched chairs and a bookshelf that’s leaning a little to one side. We usually get our lunch from one of the small places nearby or have it at our desks while we talk. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, and the elevator is old, but it’s got a lot of character. We’ve been in this part of Fort for a while now and we like the vibe of the neighborhood. It feels like a place where real work gets done without a lot of fuss. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the office, we just focus on the projects we have on our plate and try to keep things organized.
