This part of town is very industrial and we fit right in. We’ve been working with rubber for a long time. The factory floor is where most of the action happens. It’s hot, it’s smelly, and it’s loud, but that’s just what making rubber products is like. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll just see the machines and the stacks of materials waiting to be used. The office is just a small partitioned area where we handle the invoices and talk to customers. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. We just care about getting the rubber right. The traffic on Kurla Andheri Road is usually a nightmare, so we try to get our deliveries out early in the morning. Most of the staff have been with us for years and they know the machines better than anyone. It’s a tough job but we just get on with it every day. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to check an order. Mostly, we are out there on the floor making sure everything is running. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend all afternoon fixing them. That’s just part of the business for us.
