Phonic Kids

Phonic Kids is located at 14, Satelite Tower on Film City Road. Goregaon East is always humming with activity, especially with the temple nearby. The Wagheshwari Temple is a major landmark, so people find us pretty easily. Being on Film City Road means there are always rickshaws and cars passing by. Inside the tower, it is a bit quieter. We are in unit 14. It is not a huge space, but we have enough room for the kids to sit in a circle. We focus a lot on how words sound. We have letters pinned up everywhere. Some of the letters are starting to curl at the edges because of the humidity. We don't really mind. The kids like to point at them anyway. We have a small rug where everyone gathers for story time. It is a bit worn out in the middle. Goregaon has a lot of families, and we see a lot of them coming in and out of the tower. Sometimes the kids get distracted by the bells from the temple, but usually, they are busy with their crayons. We keep a few boxes of spare clothes in the back just in case of accidents. It is a very normal, local setup. We don't have a big fancy playground, just the indoor area and some toys that have been played with a thousand times. It is just a place where kids learn their ABCs while the city moves outside.
