Our workplace is over at 31/1, Rocky Indl. Estate on I.B. Patel Road. Penomat Writing Instruments has been here in Goregaon (E) for a long time now. Being in an industrial estate means there’s always noise from the neighboring units. We’re used to the sound of machines and the smell of ink. It’s a practical space designed for making pens, not for hosting fancy meetings. We spend our days on the factory floor checking the assembly lines. Goregaon is a busy hub, and I.B. Patel Road is always moving. We don't have a polished corporate image. We’re just regular folks who know a lot about writing instruments. The floors are concrete and the desks are old, but it works for what we need to do. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine gets stuck, and we just deal with it. It’s part of the job. We keep a lot of spare parts and boxes stacked up near the entrance. If you came to visit, you’d see us in our work clothes, probably with a bit of ink on our hands. We’ve stayed at Rocky Indl. Estate because it’s central for our workers. We don’t do much advertising. Most people find out about Penomat Writing Instruments through word of mouth or just seeing us here. We just keep our heads down and keep the production going every single day. It's noisy and messy, but it's what we do and it works for us.
