Pearl International Education Centre

This office is tucked away in Malad West, specifically in the Hetal Arch building on S V Road. If you know the Ranade Road area near Dhuruwadi, you know how crowded it gets with the traffic and people moving around all day. We are up on the fourth floor in room A 402. It is a basic setup where we handle education stuff for students looking to go overseas to study. Most days involve a lot of typing on old keyboards and keeping track of deadlines for applications. The view from the window is mostly just the tops of other buildings and the constant stream of cars on S V Road below. We have a small staff here, mostly locals who take the train to Malad every morning. The office is often full of folders and brochures that we try to keep in some kind of order. It gets a bit loud when the schools nearby let out in the afternoon, but we just keep working through our list. We don't really do much advertising; people just find us through word of mouth or by seeing the sign on the building. It’s a lot of practical work, checking documents and making sure names are spelled right on forms. We don't have any fancy coffee machines, just a kettle for making tea when things get quiet for a minute. It's just a regular workplace doing its thing in the middle of Mumbai.
