Peacock Overseas

Peacock Overseas is situated in Bhuleshwar, at Unit No. 14 in the Jai Hind Estate. This part of Mumbai is always packed with people and goods. Dr. A. M. Road is where you’ll find us. We’ve been operating out of this estate for a few years. It’s a commercial area, so there’s always something happening. Our unit is just big enough for our needs. We deal with overseas trading. It means a lot of paperwork and tracking. We don't have a fancy reception area. Usually, you just walk in and see us at our desks. The estate itself is old but it’s a good location for business. We spend our time talking to suppliers and checking on containers. It’s not glamorous. There’s a lot of heavy lifting mentally, keeping track of all the rules. We don't use big words or have a vision statement. We just want to get the goods shipped on time. The traffic in Bhuleshwar is some of the worst, so we try to do most things early in the day. It’s a tight-knit community of traders here. We know our neighbors and we help each other out when needed. We just do our part in the export chain and keep the office running. It's a lot of manual work and phone calls, but we are used to the pace by now. That's just how we operate.
