Our place is in the Panna Lal Compound, specifically 3 / 14 in the Bhandup Industrial Estate. If you know L.B.S. Marg, you know how the traffic can get in Bhandup West during peak hours. It's a busy industrial hub. The compound itself is full of different businesses, so there is always movement—trucks unloading, people running errands, and the general hum of machines in the background. Inside our unit, we focus on analytical equipment. It's a bit of a contrast to the dusty environment outside because we have to keep things fairly clean for the instruments we handle. We aren't a giant corporation; we are more of a tight-knit team of people who know each other. We have a few rooms for testing and a small office area for the paperwork. Sometimes the power fluctuates, which is annoying, but we have backups for that. The guys in the workshop know their stuff. They've been handling these machines for years and years. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or decor. We’d rather have better tools for the work we do. Lunch usually happens at our desks or at the small canteen nearby in the compound. It’s a practical way to work. We get a lot of visitors from other parts of Mumbai, and they always complain about the L.B.S. Marg traffic, which we just laugh about because we live with it every day. It’s just part of the job of being based here in Bhandup.
