I have been working out of this space in the Gokuldham Medical Centre for quite a while now. It is located over in Goregaon East, specifically near the 4th Main and 4th Cross in the HAL 3rd Stage area. The building stays pretty busy most days of the week. People from the neighborhood know the way here well enough, though some new folks get a bit confused by the turns around Sai R. The office inside is not very large, but it serves the purpose for what I do. Usually, the mornings start with the sound of the shutters going up and the cleaning staff finishing their rounds. I spend most of my day sitting here at the desk or seeing people who come in with various health issues. The waiting area has a few chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for the short time people stay. Outside, the traffic on the main road can get a bit loud during the peak hours, especially when the school buses are passing through. I keep a small fan running to drown out some of that noise. It is just a regular local clinic where things happen at a steady pace. I know most of the faces that walk through the door because they live right around the corner. It feels more like a community spot than a cold medical office. Sometimes the power goes out for a few minutes and we just wait it out.
