We are tucked away at 140 Sanjay Mittal No.3, off Sir M.V. Road. It’s an area that feels very industrial, even though it’s in the middle of a busy city. Paper Kraft Mfg.India is where we deal with all things paper. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of raw paper and maybe a bit of ink. We have these big machines that take up most of the space. They make a rhythmic thumping sound that you eventually stop hearing after working here for a few months. Our office is just a corner partitioned off with some glass that vibrates when the heavy equipment is running. We don't have a big marketing budget or anyone to tell us how to look professional. We just focus on the stacks of paper and the cutting machines. The floor is usually covered in small scraps, and we sweep it up at the end of every shift. It’s a small team, and we all do a bit of everything. One day I might be on the phone with a vendor, and the next I’m helping load a pallet. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s consistent. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and the neighbors know us. We just try to get the orders out on time without making too much of a fuss. It’s just a regular factory life, really.
