Padam Kids Wear

We run Padam Kids Wear out of a flat in Rachana Appartment, specifically B/205 on Eksar Road in Borivali West. It is a bit different from a regular shop because we are based in a residential building. You have to come up to the second floor to find us. The room is usually full of piles of clothes for children, and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit down. Being in Borivali West means there is always a lot of noise from the street below, but once you are inside the apartment, it feels a bit more contained. We spend our mornings sorting through the new stock and getting everything packed for people who ordered. It is mostly just a few of us handling the folding and the tagging. Rachana Appartment is a well-known landmark for the locals, so people don’t usually have a hard time finding the place on Eksar Road. We don’t have big signs or anything like that. It’s just a simple setup where we keep the kids' clothes organized. Sometimes the neighbors in the building pop in to say hello, which makes it feel like a real local business. We keep things pretty quiet to respect the other families living here. It’s just a regular flat turned into a workspace where we manage the daily tasks of the garment trade without any fuss.
