Orion Electronics

You can find Orion Electronics at 4041 in the Bhandup Industrial Estate, right on LBS Marg in Bhandup West. It’s a busy location, right in the thick of the industrial action. The estate is old and has a lot of character, with trucks always coming in and out. We’ve got our workshop set up to handle all sorts of electronic jobs. It’s not the biggest space, so we have to keep things fairly tight. We’ve got benches lined up with various tools and testing equipment. The noise from LBS Marg stays with us all day, a constant background hum of horns and engines. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just fix things and put them together. Sometimes a job is easy, and sometimes it takes all day to figure out what’s wrong. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards at the gate know us by name. It’s a good community of workers in the estate. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s mostly just us and the work that needs doing. Our filing cabinet is a bit rusty, and the chairs aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. We focus on getting the orders out on time and keeping the lights on. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business in this part of Mumbai.
