Prachi Exports

Prachi Exports is based out of No. 709 in the Parekh Market Building. This is near Kennedy Bridge on J. S. S. Road in the Opera House area. It is a very busy part of town and getting here in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with all the traffic. The building is an older one and the elevators can be a bit slow but we have a good view from the seventh floor. We spend our days dealing with various export orders and it gets quite hectic in the middle of the month. There are always people coming and going in the market building and the sounds of the street come right up to our windows. We have a lot of samples lying around the office and the shelves are full of files from years of work. We don't use any fancy software, just the basic stuff to keep our records straight. Most of our work is about talking to suppliers and making sure the goods reach the port on time. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes it feels like we are just solving one problem after another. We like the energy of the Opera House area though and there are plenty of places to get a quick snack or a tea. We’ve got our own way of doing things and it works for us. It’s a practical office for a practical business.
