D. D. Exports

You can find us over at No. 25 Shingne Building. It is tucked away on Paper Mill Lane, which is right off V. P. Road near the Opera House area. If you’ve ever been to Opera House, you know it’s a whirlwind of people and noise. Our building is one of those older structures that has seen a lot over the years. Our space for D. D. Exports is pretty small. We handle a lot of different goods and the office is usually filled with samples and packing materials. You wouldn't call it organized. My father used to say that as long as you know where the important papers are, the rest doesn't matter much. We don't have a big sign outside or anything flashy. Most people find us because they’ve known us for a long time. The lane is narrow, so getting big trucks in can be a real headache sometimes. We usually end up moving things by hand or on small carts. The guys in the next office over have been there as long as we have. We all know each other. It’s a very traditional way of working, I suppose. No fancy apps or high-tech systems, just phones, pens, and a lot of patience. We just focus on getting the exports out on time every single week. We eat our lunch at our desks most days and watch the street life from the window.
