Nutun Restaurant

Nutun has been sitting here at Sion 197 for a long time. It’s a busy area, and the noise from the street never really stops. We open up early to get the tea going and start prepping the vegetables for the day. Most of our customers are people working nearby who just want a quick meal that tastes like something they’d get at home. The tables are basic, and we don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. We find that people don't really care about that as long as the food is hot and served fast. The kitchen is small, so we all have to move around each other carefully. There’s a lot of clinking of plates and shouting out orders throughout the day. We’ve seen kids grow up and start bringing their own families here. It makes the place feel like it belongs to the neighborhood. We don't use any complicated ingredients, just the stuff we buy fresh every morning from the local vendors. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the door when it pours hard, but we just put a bucket out and keep going. It’s a simple life running a restaurant in Sion. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a menu that's too long. We just stick to what we know and keep the lights on for whoever walks in. It’s just how we spend our days, from breakfast until the final cleaning at night.
