Niha Clinic

If you know Mumbai Central, you probably know how busy R S Nimkar Marg gets. Our clinic is at 6/66 A, right next to Cafe Barkha, which is a pretty good landmark for anyone trying to find us for the first time. The smell of tea and food from the cafe often drifts over here. It’s a lively spot to work in, that’s for sure. We spend most of our time inside these walls, dealing with whatever comes through the door. The space isn't huge, but it works for what we do. We’ve been part of this Mumbai neighborhood for a bit now, and you get used to the noise of the traffic and the people constantly passing by outside. It's just a regular clinic, nothing over the top. We have our desks, our chairs, and the usual medical stuff you’d expect to see. Some mornings are quiet, giving us time to catch up on paperwork, but by the afternoon, it’s usually non-stop. We don't really do much fancy advertising or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they live nearby or they’ve seen the sign while heading to the cafe. It’s a bit cramped when it gets busy, but we make it work. Living and working in Mumbai means you get used to tight spaces. We just try to stay organized and help the people who come in and need a checkup.
