Our shop is at 115 Nagdevi Street, which is right in the middle of one of the busiest markets you’ll ever see. If you’ve been to Nagdevi, you know it’s a constant stream of handcarts, delivery guys, and people looking for hardware. We handle plastic products and materials. The space is pretty tight, like most places around here, so we have to stack things all the way to the ceiling. Finding something at the bottom of a pile can be a real workout. We don't have fancy displays or air conditioning. It’s just a counter, some stools, and a lot of stock. We spend most of our time haggling a bit with suppliers or helping customers find exactly the right grade of plastic they need for a job. The street noise is part of the background, and you just get used to shouting over it. We usually have a hot tea from the vendor across the street at least three times a day. It’s a busy life, and there’s always something to be unloaded or packed up for shipping. We know the other guys on the street, and we all help each other out when someone needs a hand with a heavy load. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we’ve done for a long time. We just open the shutters in the morning and see what the day brings in through the door. It is a good place to be.
