Our office is tucked away in the MIG Colony in Bandra East, which is actually a pretty calm spot compared to the rest of the city. We have been here for a while, and the place is usually a bit of a jumble with climbing ropes, backpacks, and various outdoor gear leaning against the walls. It doesn't look like your typical corporate office because it really isn't. We spend our days planning trips and training sessions, often staring at maps spread out on the old wooden tables. The morning usually starts with some tea while we go over the logistics for the next group heading out. Being in Bandra East makes it easy for us to get around, though the traffic near the station can be a pain. We aren't big on formalities here; most of us wear comfortable clothes because we might be heading to a site at a moment's notice. The shelves are packed with books about nature and technical manuals that have been thumbed through a hundred times. There is a lot of phone work involved, talking to vendors and making sure all the safety equipment is up to standard. It can be a bit loud when everyone is in the office at once, but usually, half the team is out in the field anyway. We just keep things running from this little corner of the colony, making sure the gear is ready for whatever comes next.
