Narottamdas Exports

We are located at 705 in the Parekh Market building, right in the heart of Opera House. If you know Mumbai, you know Opera House is the place for trade, especially with all the history here. Being on the seventh floor gives us a bit of a view, though mostly it’s just other buildings and the busy streets below. Parekh Market is a hectic place with people constantly coming and going, and the elevators are almost always full. Our office, Narottamdas Exports, is a small but busy spot. We have desks piled high with documents because there is always something that needs to be filed or sent out. It’s not a very modern space; we still have some of the older furniture from when we first started. It feels more comfortable that way, honestly. We aren't looking to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or expensive art. We just want to make sure our exports are handled correctly and on time. The atmosphere in the building is very business-like, but in a traditional way. Everyone is working hard and there is a lot of talking in the hallways. We fit right in with that. It gets a bit warm in the summer, even with the windows open, but we just get on with it. It’s a solid place to work and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the market over the years. It's home for us now.
