Our office for Sopariwala Exports Pvt. Ltd. is situated in Nariman Point. It’s a very different vibe from the industrial areas, much more about the high-rise buildings and the sea breeze. Even though it’s a prestigious address, we keep things pretty grounded inside. We’ve been around for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Our daily routine involves a lot of coordination for our export business. We aren't a huge team, despite the fancy location. It’s mostly just us sitting around a few desks, managing orders and talking to suppliers. We don't go in for all the corporate jargon you hear in the elevators around here. We just want to make sure our goods get where they’re supposed to go. Sometimes we take a walk by the water during lunch just to clear our heads from all the spreadsheets. The work can be repetitive, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that we like. We don't spend a lot of time on self-promotion. Most of our clients have been with us for years, so we just focus on maintaining those relationships. It’s about being reliable and showing up every day. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We’re just a group of people working hard in a busy part of the city. We keep the doors open and the phones ringing, and that’s enough for us to stay quite busy year round.
