Dadar West is always a bit of a chaotic place to be, especially around area 7. We have our classes set up here and it’s usually quite loud outside with the traffic and the people walking to the train station. The rooms aren't huge, but we manage to fit enough benches for the students who come by. It gets really crowded in the evenings when the school day ends and the kids start arriving. We spend a lot of time just cleaning the boards and setting out the papers for the next group. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but nobody really looks at the walls when they are trying to study anyway. We’ve got a small area in the corner where we keep the registers and some old books. It’s mostly just a practical space for learning. We don't have any of those fancy digital screens, just regular chalk and talk mostly. Sometimes the trains going by are so loud we have to pause for a second. It's just the way it is in Mumbai. The kids bring their snacks and sometimes leave wrappers behind, which is a bit annoying, but they are mostly good. We just try to get through the syllabus without too much trouble. It’s a simple setup for anyone living around Dadar who needs a place to sit down and focus on their lessons for a few hours.
