Nagreka Exports Ltd. is located in the Opera House area, which is always a hub of activity. We are at No. 7 Kala Bhavan on Mathew Road. It’s an older building but it has a certain charm to it. Our office is right in the thick of things. You can hear the city moving outside the windows all day long. We have a lot of desks set up for the staff who handle all the export details. It’s a professional but lived-in space. There are stacks of papers and boxes of samples scattered around. We don't have any of those modern open-plan layouts; it’s more traditional with cupboards and partitions. Most of us have been here for years, so we have a set routine. We deal with a lot of international clients, so the phones are always busy. The lift in the building is a bit slow, so we often end up taking the stairs. We don't really do much in the way of self-promotion. Most people who work with us have been doing so for a long time. We just focus on the logistics and the regulations that come with exporting goods. It takes a lot of patience to deal with all the different agencies involved. We usually have a lot of tea and keep the fans running to stay cool. It’s a solid, dependable place where we just get the work finished and go home to our families.
