You can find us on the first floor of the Naaz Building right on Lamington Road. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded this area is. There are electronics shops everywhere and the noise from the street never really stops. Our office is a bit cramped because we have boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling. It is an old building, so the lift doesn't always work and you might have to take the stairs. We deal with a lot of stuff coming in and going out, mostly parts and small goods that people around here are looking for. The air conditioning struggles in the summer, so we usually have a window open, which just lets in more of the traffic sounds. It’s a busy life here. We spend a lot of time checking invoices and making sure the customs papers are in order. Sometimes we have to stay late because a shipment arrived late at the port. It’s not a polished place with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. We know the other people in the building well, and we usually get our lunch from the small stall downstairs. It is a bit chaotic, but that is just how it is on Lamington Road. We keep track of everything on a few old computers and notebooks. It works for us.
