Satya Sai Exports

Our place is located over at 15 Amar Industrial Estate on A. K. Road. It’s right in Andheri East, across from the Lathai Rubber Company in the Morol area. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know the traffic can be a real headache most afternoons. We’ve been operating Satya Sai Exports from this industrial block for a long time. It’s a bit of a dusty area with all the small factories and workshops lined up next to each other. We spend a lot of time just managing the boxes and making sure everything is labeled right for the shipments. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The office is tucked inside the estate, so it can be a little hard to find the first time you visit. We usually just tell people to look for the rubber factory landmark because everyone knows that spot. Most of the guys working here have been with us for years. We eat lunch together when there's a break in the loading. It gets pretty loud with the machines from the neighboring units, but you stop noticing it after a few hours. We just try to get the work done without too much fuss. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out and get back to it. It is just a regular local business life for us here.
