Montech Engineers is over in 503, Raikar Chamber, which is on Deonar Village Road in Govandi. The building is one of those typical office blocks where everyone kind of knows each other. Our space is filled with technical drawings, some old prototypes sitting on shelves, and a lot of engineering manuals that haven't been moved in years. We spend a lot of time on our computers doing design work or talking to suppliers on the phone. Govandi is a bit of a trek for some of us, but the area has a lot of energy. The office gets a lot of light in the afternoon, which is nice, though it can get pretty warm if the air conditioning isn't behaving itself. We handle a lot of different engineering tasks, mostly focusing on industrial stuff that people don't really think about until something breaks. The Raikar Chamber building is always busy with people coming and going from different floors. We usually keep the door open to get a bit of a breeze from the hallway. There is a small pantry where we make coffee, though the kettle is a bit temperamental. It isn't a high-pressure corporate environment, just a bunch of people who know how to put things together. Most days we are just trying to keep up with the project deadlines and making sure the specs are right before things go to the factory.
