You can find us at number 9 in the Navnandanvan Industrial Estate. We’re tucked away behind Saidhom, off P.K. Road in Mulund West. It can be a little tricky to find the first time if you aren't looking closely at the signs. The estate is always buzzing with activity, trucks coming in and out, and the sound of metal hitting metal. Modern Equipment Co. has been in this unit for a bit. It’s an old building, but it serves the purpose. We keep the tools and machines in order as best as we can. There’s always a bit of grease on the floor and some noise from the neighbors. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of the time, the guys are just wearing their work clothes and getting their hands dirty. We have a small desk for the accounts, but the real work happens in the back. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when we have several things going at once. P.K. Road is usually busy, so we try to get our loading done early in the morning before the traffic gets bad. It’s a practical way to run things. We don't spend money on leather chairs or glass walls. We just focus on the equipment and making sure it works. It’s a bit of a gritty environment, but we’re used to it. That’s just life in an industrial estate in Mulund.
