You can find us at Modern Allied Paints & Chemical Company over in Goregaon West. We’re at 155 Jawahar Nagar, specifically in Kapur Bldg No. 2, right by the Railway Crossing Road. It’s a busy part of town, especially with the trains passing by so often. We’ve been here for quite some time now, surrounded by buckets of paint and various chemicals. The shop has that distinct smell of thinner and pigment, which we’ve actually grown to like. We aren't a big, shiny corporate office. It's more of a place where we stack cans high and keep track of everything in big ledgers. People from around Jawahar Nagar come in looking for specific shades or something to help with a painting job. We spend a lot of time moving heavy crates around and making sure we have enough stock on the shelves. Sometimes the floor gets a few drips of color on it, but it just adds to the character of the place. We try to keep things moving and help out whoever walks through the door. If you’re near the railway crossing, you’ve probably seen our sign. We just focus on our daily routine and keep the business going as best we can. It’s a simple life here at Kapur Bldg No. 2, and we’re used to the noise and the pace of Goregaon. Most of our days are spent checking inventory and talking to our regular customers who stop by.
