Mehta Group

You can find the Mehta Group over at 612 on Hajiali Tardeo Road. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and the view outside is mostly of cars stuck in traffic and people rushing to the nearby landmarks. Our office isn't one of those modern glass towers; it’s an older building with a lot of character and some creaky floors. We have stacks of files everywhere because we still like having things on paper. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the desks and cabinets, but we make it work. The staff has been with us for years, so there’s a lot of joking around while we handle the daily chores. We don't have a corporate dress code, so you'll usually see us in simple shirts and comfortable shoes. Lunchtime is the best part of the day when everyone opens their tiffins and the whole place smells like home-cooked food. We spend a lot of time on the phone or dealing with people who drop by for various bits of business. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, and we have to take the stairs, which is a bit of a workout. It’s a very grounded environment without any of the high-pressure sales talk you might find elsewhere. We just keep our heads down, manage our projects, and try to get home before the evening rains get too heavy. It is just another day at the office for us.
