Our office is located in Room No 13 of the Adarash Co-Op Society, over in Malwani No 8. It’s part of the Mahada area in Malad West, which is a pretty crowded and lively part of Mumbai. Being Mas Engineers & Contractors Pvt.Ltd means we are usually out on sites, but this room is where we keep all the plans and do the billing. It’s a small space on Plot No 28, and it’s usually stacked with papers and blueprints. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time, so we know the local vendors and the way things work around here. The commute can be a bit of a headache with the traffic, but that’s just Mumbai for you. We mostly deal with construction and contracting stuff, so our boots are usually a bit dusty when we come back in the evenings. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a place to get the paperwork done so we can get back to the actual building work. The guys often drop by to pick up supplies or talk about the next phase of a project. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is here at once, but we make it work. We’ve seen a lot of buildings go up around Malad, and we’ve been involved in our fair share of them over the years. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from early morning until late at night.
